Physical exercise has some serious psychological as well as physical benefits, and working with a personal trainer means you’re doing each exercise correctly (to reduce your chance of injury) and targeting where you need the work (so you’re more efficient in each workout). Massage therapy has been shown to improve muscle recovery following intensive exercise and reduce post-workout soreness (see our research section for more details).

Personal TrainingWhen you buy one of our PT/massage packages, you get the added benefit that your therapist and trainer will be communicating about your sessions, coordinating your care to ensure every session is targeted for you individually. But hurry, these deals are only available until 31 January 2015.

How to Purchase
Choose which package you’d like, whether it be the massage package or one of our PT/massage combinations, and get in touch with us to pay by bank transfer, or purchase at our Walthamstow or Leyton locations with cash or debit/credit card (credit card has £2.00 surcharge). 2. Choose your trainer – Each personal trainer works in different locations and has different specialisations, so choose the trainer that most suits your needs.
3. Purchase your package – Contact us to purchase a package, either online via bank transfer or in our clinic in Walthamstow or Leyton with cash, debit or credit card (credit card has a £2.00 surcharge).
4. Get started! Your first session needs to be scheduled by the 28 February 2015, and then you have the allotted amount of time to complete your package. We recommend 1-2 PT sessions a week and 1-2 massages per month.

Try-It-Out Package: £10 Off
Want to try personal training and massage but don’t want to commit to a big package? Our try-it-out package lets you get started with 2 x 60 min personal training sessions and 1 x 60 min sport & remedial massage sessions. If you finish this package and it’s still January, you can still purchase one of our bigger packages

Taryne McPherson
Taryne PictureQualifications & Specialist Areas: Level 3 personal trainer and Pilates instructor. Specialist areas include advanced kettlebells, run leader for UK athletics, core stability, circuits, boxing, interval and high intensity training,TRX, plyometrics, pre and post natal, Pilates, endurance training and weight management & nutrition.
Locations for training: Taryne is a mobile trainer and can train at your home or at a park near you in Waltham Forest, including Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, Chingford and Wanstead, in Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Isle of Dogs, Chigwell, Shoreditch, Canary Wharf, Bethnal Green, E20, Dalston, Victoria Park, Mile End and London Fields.

Taryne works alongside clients in ensuring that their goals and targets are met in a safe environment. Sessions are fun but challenging and the end results are always achieved. When she’s not training with clients or competing in league races with her running club you’ll find her shipping her children to one hobby or the next!

Ryan Robinson

Qualifications and specialist areas: National Academy of Sports Medicine Level 3 personal trainer, Level 3 lifetime fitness trainer, ViPR, kettle bell, steel bell and suspension qualified, Bupa Health Check practitioner
Locations for training: Fitness First Gym at Leyton Mills

Ryan has been fitness qualified for over 10 years in which time he’s helped many people achieve their fitness, functional, rehab, weight loss, sporting and perfomance goals. He has a background in MMA (mixed martial arts) in which he achieved world and British titles. As the head coach for two of the country’s leading MMA gyms, he works with top level athletes and has given him with a wealth of experience working with sports injury rehabilitation.

Annina Whipp

Annina WhippQualifications and specialist areas: Level 3 personal trainer and triathlon coach, and is completing her BA as a dietician this year. Specialist areas include circuits, boxing, interval training and triathlon preparation.
Locations for training: Annina is a mobile trainer and can train at your home or at a park near you in Dalston, Hackney, London Fields, Bethnal Green, Canary Wharf, Isle of Dogs, Shoreditch, Old Street, Tower Hamlets, Victoria Park, Mile End, Newington Green, Stoke Newington and Whitechapel.

Annina trained as a national swimmer from the age of 11 and has had a love for the sport ever since. After realising the benefits of cross training, she began long-distance running, which led her to compete successfully in aquathlons and open water swimming.  The combination of her knowledge surrounding smart training and balanced nutrition enables her to help clients make choices that will lead them to their health and fitness goals in a manageable and respectable timeframe. Her current client base ranges from Olympic-distance triathletes looking to make their stroke more effective to women who want to improve their body shape. Whatever your goals, Annina can provide tailored fitness programmes and nutritional recommendations to accommodate and support your lifestyle.

Terms & Conditions:
After a 7-day cooling off period the package is non-refundable. One per person, though may purchase multiples as gifts. Client must choose one trainer out of those offered to work with and complete all sessions with chosen personal trainer.
